There is so much I could say. I feel really blessed to have met and worked with this artist, Chinua Hawk. I has a great catalog of songs and is an extremely talented singer, songwriter and author.

I remember he came by the studio one day and I played him an idea I had on the guitar. I was not, and still am not, a great guitar player at all, but I was able to strum out this idea. I remember he asked me to give him a moment alone to write to it. So, I left the basement and went upstairs to get a snack and figure out what I would do while he came up with song ideas.

Twenty minutes later he called me back down to the studio and blew me away with this song. We hired XXXXXX to play the bass and gutiar parts. Sherwin did the drums and edited most of the takes.

While we were writing the song we got word that ASCAP had a tri-state song writing competition. When we finished it, we submitted the song to the competition, not expect much because we were competing with song writers all through out New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania. When we discovered we won, we couldn't believe it.
