I don't make music. The music makes me.

I have no idea where much of my music comes from.

Though some music was written or created by showing up at the studio and trying any and everything, a lot of music seemed to be "put" into my brain in a complete state, with all of the instruments and parts.

Imagine having to write a report about a book you never read. Seems impossible, right? Imagine the entire paper being given to you mentally, from start to finish, with all the punctuation, witty banter and poignant phases...all placed in your mind...gifted to you from... the universe? All you have to do is type it.

Often times whole pieces of finished music would pop into my head and I tried to replay what came, with some experimentation and alterations along the way. Where did these complete ideas come from? I have no clue. I feel a certain way about taking credit for them. It's as though they were given to me, finished. There was no need to write or think.

I understood what people meant by being a vessel. One day, I felt the need to talk about it and this track was created. I realized that as much as I made music, in many ways music made me. It molded and fashioned me in it's likeness, as much I molded and shaped it in mine.
